Artist's Comments

The Moonlight Demon.

Stands at 60cm/2 feet tall.

He must to consume 13 human hearts during the phase of the full moon in order to survive until the next one.

Abilities/Habits:
Prefers to ambush his prey by stalking or leaping down from high vantage points.

Hunts at night during the full moon and tends to use the shadows in order to stalk his prey. Can obviously see in the dark.

He can absorb moonlight via the moon shaped symbol on his belly to heal his wounds.

The only way to kill him is to expose him to direct sunlight or kill him during an eclipse.

No one knows where it came from. According to legend, it is a physical manifestation of a shadow.

I like the background, its actually quite good.
I think a dark red background with a yellow moon (the same yellow as the eyes and crescent moon) Keep the misty cloud.
I think it would look a bit better if the horns were just attached to the head straight off, not behind any ears or anything. with no lines to define the base of the horns.
also, Solid yellow eyes would look better I think, but whatever, play around with it, you'll find your own ays to make it better ^^

hmmm, the background is lovely, but the clouds seem a bit untidy, as for the demon, he looks great! the only thing i could think of in terms on improvement are the lines, maybe try to delete the lines where you would need them? like on the tail and such :)

but yeah, overall i really like it :D

And yeah, I have trouble with the horns, heh.
But I'm making a 3D version, so that should help with my drawings ;)

I would imagine in dark places of high altitude.
